Today
Today I watched “Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead”. Later I rode bus 75 next to an older lady who looked just like John Cale. I went to a picnic at la Villette and got asked for beer and cigarettes three times. I gave the book “The Lyrics of Tom Waits: The Early Years” as a present and borrowed “Ella Minnow Pea”. I told, in chronological order, as presented on the news, the complete story of the macabre Nantes’ murders. Towards the end of the day I said “hit it” when listening to the Four Seasons and compared Vivaldi to Beyoncé. As a compliment to both.
